Powers/Abilities: The power of "mind over matter," allowing him to do almost anything he desires. He could fly by "immunizing himself against the law of gravity." He was also telepathic and able to move at superhuman speeds by concentrating so that he rendered himself "immune to the laws of nature." He can also turn into vapor, and to create missiles simply by thinking about them. When boulders were thrown at him he caught them telekinetically in mid air, and most ruthlessly he could generate "liquidating rays" that emanated from his head, which caused the target to literally melt into nothing after being struck.
Summary: Master Mystic was a psychic superhero who sought to defend the world.
History: "In a world beset by war, crime, and disease, there emerged one day a man who declared himself guardian of the world! Whence he came, nobody knew, but so amazing were the powers of this mysterious being that he became known as the Master Mystic! He had developed to the utmost degree the principle of mind over matter! By merely thinking, this being could come and go as he pleased! He immunized himself at will against the law of gravity! Sometimes only his voice was heard - paralyzing all evil-doers with fear!"
When Rango of Slavonia's plans for conquering Europe fell through, the villain synthesized a drug that, once injected, turned him into a colossus. After destroying several European cities in his rampage, he set off across the Atlantic to attack America, but the Master Mystic confronted the villain and after a brief fight slew him.
