History: Magnitude grew up on an Earth which had suffered nuclear devastation and other untold destruction at the hands of it's once greatest hero, the Combatant, who had revealed after decades of protecting the world that he was an alien sleeper agent. Hoping to prevent the destruction from having ever happened, Magnitude travelled back in time to the present day, when he had been a small child, intending to warn the world's heroes before the Combatant revealed his true loyalties and launched his attack. However a miscalculation saw him arrive slightly too late, arriving just as the Combatant turned coat.
