History:

Comments: Created by Bill Woolfolk.

The Mad Hatter appeared in two issues of his own title, totalling five adventures, before vanishing into obscurity.

Unlike other heroes whose cape appears to be cloth, Mad Hatter's cape appears to be made of some furry material, as can be seen in the image to the right of Hatter with Barbara Blake.

Fuddy and Bustle, Grant Richmond's bosses who were introduced in the first story of Mad Hatter#2, had their own two page solo story later that same issue, notable simply because giving supporting cast members their own strips was such a rarity in the 1940s.
