History:

Initially published in several short stories and novels, Solomon Kane was adapted to comics in the 1970s and 80s and published by Marvel. More recently Dark Horse gained the license, reprinting Marvel's output and publishing new adaptations.

In 2009 a Solomon Kane movie was released, starring James Purefoy as the Puritan adventurer.
