History: Middle-aged ex-cop Jon Cole was struggling through life when he discovered a magical book that opened a portal to another dimension. On the other side he was revived and empowered, but an evil lord of this dimension cursed him so that whenever he returned to Earth's dimension he was transformed into the hideous Kadaver.
