Powers/Abilities: As an Angel, Jonathan Smith has access to "The Stuff," giving him a wide variety of super powers, including, but not limited to super strength, super speed, invulnerability, the power to make various objects spontaneously appear when needed, and the ability to enter and affect other peoples' dreams.

History: Arthur Thompson was a happily married lawyer who eventually died from lung cancer. He went to Heaven, where he was given the job of Guardian Angel. As "Jonathan Smith, he would travel the land, helping those in need. On his very first "Assignment," he met Mark Gordon, and the two have been working together ever since.

Comments: Created and played by Michael Landon.

This was Michael Landon's third starring role in a television series, the first two being "Bonanza" and "Little House on the Prairie."
