History:

Comments: Created by Albert and Florence Magarian.

He only appeared in one issue, but it contained two stories. In his first story Jack of Spades uses his cloak to anchor himself before leaping after someone falling from a building, suggesting he can't fly. However in his second tale when he has to escape a burning ship while carrying someone, he somehow makes it a considerable distance to the nearest island, the home of the Hawkmen who had to get from the ship to the island by flying, and we later see him moving through the air alongside flying Hawkmen as they depart the island again. Since the story says Jack "leaps into the air" in the first instance he may be leaping (like the Hulk, or early Superman) rather than flying.
