Comments: The Iron Warrior is halfway between a robot and a powered armour suit - Dearth can ride inside it and control it, but it is also apparantly able to act without a pilot, summoned and ordered by remote control; in this sense it is a precursor to Japanese Mecha (or Marvel's Mecha-inspired Red Ronin). The Warrior isn't really a hero; while willing to make friends with natives he encounters, Dearth, a product of his times, has no qualms whatsoever about killing any who are less than friendly.

The Iron Warrior turned up in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Black Dossier, as one of the members of the 1950s League.
