Summary: When ham radio operator Buzz Allen accidentally turns his radio invisible after installing a "super-electron" tube in it, he decides to use his discovery to avenge his father, recently slain by criminals. Installing his newly discovered invisibility device into a belt, he becomes the Invisible Avenger, assisted by his friend Will Lawrence.
History:
Comments: Created by Charles Hornig and Ray Burley.
Though Buzz's name is in the story title, making him the titular Invisible Avenger, it's worth pointing out that Will also wears an invisibility belt and is every bit as much a hero as his friend - so it'd be more accurate to term them the Invisible Avengers, plural, which is something the last line of the second story confirms.
Appearance checklist (not including reprints): Superworld Comics#1-3
CLARIFICATIONS: The Invisible Avenger should not be confused with
anyone else who is either Invisible or an Avenger
