History: Angered at no longer being in the public eye, stage actor and illusionist Irving "the Great" Thespius turned to crime to renew his fame, though he ended up spending almost as much time battling his criminal rivals as he did evading the authorities.

Some of Thespius' exploits were reprinted in the 1980s in Eagle Picture Library #7 and #10.
