Comments: As early publicity material (and a few uncorrected word balloons in early issues of Protectors) show, Gravestone was initially going to be called Fantom (of the Fair, aka Fantoman), like the Golden Age character he was based on, but the name was changed  to avoid him potentially being confused with the Phantom.
