The Gauntlet of Fate
Real Name: Judge Flint
Identity/Class: Ghost possessing item
Occupation: Upholder of justice
Affiliations: Tom Stokes
Enemies: Unknown
Known Relatives: None
Aliases: None
Base of Operations: N.A.
First Appearance: Thunder #1 (I.P.C., 17 October 1970)
Powers/Abilities: The Gauntlet, apparently possessed by the ghost of Judge Flint, can take control of the arm of the wearer, and seems to have a psychic ability to predict events around it. It can grant superhuman strength to the wearer if appropriate, and even deflect bullets. The gauntlet is indestructible, and not only cannot be penetrated by projectiles, but protects the wearer from any impact injuries which would normally be incurred (in other words, not only does it block bullets, it absorbs all the kinetic energy too, so no risk of broken bones like you might get with a bulletproof vest); when it grasps a helocopter's tail rotor as the blades are spinning, the blades break, leaving the wearer uninjured. It can also move of its own volition, forcing people to don it.
