Powers/Abilities: Possesses "the strength of Hercules, the speed of Mercury, the wisdom of Zeus...and the powers of all the other gods." His flaming sword can cut through anything, he has superhuman strength and invulnerability, can fly, and can sense, control and teleport through fire or explosions.

History: Admiring the Germans' warlike attitude, the bloodthirsty Roman god Mars magically created Man of War to aid them, but carelessly made him first appear in Dayton, Ohio, where he became immediately loyal to the peaceloving side of the conflict.
