Powers/Abilities: Air Man's costume includes a pair of Helium-filled wings and a jet-pack which enable him to fly. He also carries chemicals and bombs on his belt. His boots have talons on them, and he carries an oxygen mask so he can operate underwater as easily as in the air - when he wishes to submerge, he lets water into his hollow wings to use as ballast.
History: Drake Stevens is the son of famous ornithologist Professor Claude Stevens. When his father is murdered by pirates and Drake feels the police are incapable of delivering justice for the senseless crime, he manufactures a winged costume that allows him to fly and becomes the crimefighter Air Man.

Air Man's appearances in Centaur Comics were limited to four issues - Keen Detective Funnies #23-24, and Detective Eye #1-2. However, like other Centaur characters who had fallen into the public domain, in the 1990s he was revived and updated as part of Malibu's Protectors.
