Powers/Abilities: Athletic and good fighter.

History: Freelance was raised by a native tribe in a lost tropical valley hidden in the Antarctic. He grew up stronger and tougher than regular men. When he reached adulthood he travelled to the civilised world, where he discovered the Second World War in full swing. He became an Allied agent, operating all over the world fighting the Axis forces, working alongside a Russian secret agent, Natasha, and the peg-legged pirate, Big John Collins.

Comments:  Created by Ed Furness and Ted McCall. He was the second Canadian super hero (Iron Man was the first).
