Powers/Abilities: El Carim possessed a magic monacle. Among its powers, it can attract bullets fired at its wearer, then deflect them harmlessly. El Carim also uses a spectrograph of his own invention - by putting a person's name into it alongside the monocle, he can record an image on the monocle showing the person's recent activities. El Carim carries a rope that can rise into the air and hang suspended from nothing upon his uttering the activation word "Extendo" and a powerful magnet that can pull bullets and other metal objects from the air. He is able to paralyse people with a word, is a master hypnotist, and is a skilled escapologist.
