History: Doctor Hwen Fong and his wife, Carmen Ruiz, were parapsychologists, investigators in the unexplained and the supernatural. One of their cases gained them the enmity of necromancer Master Darque, who slew Hwen in retribution. Distraught, Carmen's love for her husband bridged the gap between the living and the dead, and brought his spirit back to Earth. Though they have been reunited by their love, his insubstantial nature means that they can never again express their love in physical form, much to their annoyance.
