History: Victor Del Fuego was secretly the Detonator, a costumed mercenary whose specialised in demolition via the use of explosive devices. Incarcerated businessman Landon Venture hired him to target Matrix Industries' properties, but after he successfully blew up several of their buildings the DNAgents and their ally Crossfire got on his trail. Uncovering his real identity, they learned he had departed for Geneva, Switzerland, and deduced that Venture had sent the Detonator there to assassinate the World Court who had handed down Venture's lengthy prison sentence. Posing as a bomb squad member, Detonator managed to plant an explosive device in the Court chambers, but the DNAgents and Crossfire arrived just in time to capture him; unable to disarm the bomb in time, they instead disposed of it in a nearby river, where it exploded harmlessly.
