After accidentally ingesting some of his serum in his wine he gained the power to turn into a bat, control bats and recieves ultrasonic hearing. Realizing that he couldn't do his experiments any more, he decided to help humanity by fighting crime, building up his body, and wearing a bat-like suit. Once Communists took over his castle the Count moved to the U.S, and took over an abandoned radar site as his secret hide out. He also adopted the secret identity of Al U. Card. He has a female sidekick named Fleeta.
Comments: Dell launched the Dracula superhero in 1966 with Dracula #2 (there was an unrelated one shot with that name in 1964). The series was never popular, and it was discontinued after #5 in 1967. In 1972 issues 2-4 were reprinted as #6-8.
