Powers/Abilities: Super strength (strong enough to pick up and throw a very large truck), flight, invulnerability (bulletproof, and breaks off moving helicopter blades without getting injured), super breath (able to blow out a large fire) and super speed (moves "quicker than lightning)
History: Cometman was a world famous hero who apparently had no alter ego. He had no compunctions about killing criminals if they themselves were murderers - for example, when some gangsters attempted to kidnap the hero and mowed down pressmen who were interviewing Cometman at the time, Cometman broke the propellers of the criminals' helicopter so that it crashed and exploded.
Comments: Thanks to Dennis Ray for additional information about this character. He notes "The comic Invisible Avenger Comics that he starred in a few times was published by Jayar Studios and Associated Newspapers Ltd. of Sydney. I do not know what issue he first appeared in but he was in issues #24, #25 and #26. The comic was published between 1951 and 1956."
