History: In 1986, the military discovered that there were several mutants within its ranks. Fearful of their powers, high-ranking officials were going to have them destroyed. Instead, Colonel Mark Mason successfully convinced his superiors to form a super powered military branch. Siphon turned on his companions, killing Quake and Dynamo, and seriously injured Strike and Altertron. Altertron recovered and fought as a loner for seven years, after which he found three more mutants in the military. Training them before his death on a case, Altertron left behind a new Strikeforce, headed by a recovered Strike.
