History: Born in India to American parents, Dean Bradley had been orphaned at a young age when his parents were killed during a native revolt against British rule. A wealthy yogi priest raised the boy to adulthood, then sent Dean to Oxford, England for his further education. Recruited by British Intelligence, he eventually returned to India, where he worked as an agent but also secretly donned a snakeskin mask and used darts dipped in snake venom as the masked crimefighter known as the Cobra, targeting criminals who evaded justice through technicalities and slaying them, a myth or legend to most, respected by the police and feared by the underworld as a bringer of silent death. He continued with this dual identity when he was reassigned to other countries.
