Powers/Abilities: Skilled hunter, excellent rifleman, and master of jungle survival techniques.

History: (Jungle Tales I #1-7, Jann of the Jungle #8-17, ga) Cliff Mason was a hunter who made his reputation stalking dangerous animals, usually ones which had become man-eaters, in jungles across the world, on at least three continents (Africa - the Congo; Asia - India; South America - Brazilian rain forest). He respected both the animals he faced and the natives he dealt with, but had little time for amateur hunters. Among his more unusual opponents were giant, man-eating, spiders. When in the Congo he often worked with Kai-Su, a native of the region.
