Powers/Abilities: Uncertain - superhuman strength seems to be indicated.

History: "Working in the research laboratories of the United Nations Interplanetary Division, Jim Logan discovers an amazing secret. He treats himself electronically and thereafter, whenever he shouts the word 'Galap', electronic impulses from outer space vibrate through him, endowing him with superhuman powers. He becomes Captain Universe, the Super Marvel!"

Comments: GALAP stood for - Galileo, Master of the Galaxies, Archimedes, Master of Physics, Leonardo da Vinci, Master of Invention, Aristotle, Master of Philosophy, and Pythagoras, Master of Geometry. Quite why these were relevant and how they relate to his powers (if indeed they do) I don't know.

Captain Universe subsequently appeared alongside other public domain characters as a member of the Seven Stars, a superhero team that Mina Harker of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen temporarily belonged to. It was hinted that he was the brother of space hero Jet-Ace Logan.
