Powers/Abilities: Able to fly, superhuman strength, super magnetism, computer brain.

History: When a young couple covertly made love, they didn't realise their liason was being witnessed by beings from another planet. While the union was in the process of conceiving a child, the extra-terrestrials secretly exposed the couple to unknown radiations, and when the child was born, he proved to have superhuman abilities. Brought up right, he had a strong understanding of right and wrong, and thus became the superhero Captain Invincible. He fought for the Allies in the Second World War, saving many lives, but none of this was remembered barely a decade later, when he faced the House Un-American Affairs Committee. Accused of being a communist sympathiser and traitor, and discredited by Senator McCarthy's witch-hunts, Captain Invincible fled to Australia and took to drinking. By the 1980s he was an alcoholic and shadow of his former self, when he was sought out by reporter Patty Patria, who wanted him to save the world from his arch-enemy Mr.Midnight one last time.
