History: Like the rest of the Blood Syndicate, Boogieman was transformed by exposure to a mutagenic gas.

Comments: Nathan Genovese points out that "He was the only Caucasian member of the team. He didn't want the others to know so he pretended to have been black before his transfomation into the Boogieman."
