Powers/Abilities: Good fighter, armed with a stun gun, drives two armoured vehicles "Butch" and "Sundance".
History: When Ben Wright's younger brother was wrongly convicted, Ben set out to clear his name. Attempts to get information from criminals saw him beaten up, so he created a costumed identity to generate fear amongs the criminal fraternity and protect his family from retributions. Though he managed to clear his brother's name, Ben was too late, and his brother died in prison. Ben swore to continue his vigilante campaign for justice. After his top reporter, Anita Ford, was saved from some thugs by unemployed mechanic Eddie Navarro, Ben rewarded him with a job, and soon trusted him to become his partner, Stinger.
Comments: Created by Dave Darrigo. Originally the character was named Black Scorpion, but after the Black Scorpion series came out, Dave decided to rename his character to avoid confusion. He also changed Scorpion's partner from a man named Dart to a new character, Stinger.
