Base of Operations: Bennett House
First Appearance: Bionic Six, Valley of Shadows (first aired on April 19th, 1987)
History: In the near future, Earth is at grave risk from a wide variety of menaces from aliens to mad scientists. Professor Sharpe, head of the Special Projects Labs, creates a new form of technology to augment humans through bionics. His first subject was Jack Bennett, a test pilot who secretly acted as Sharpes field agent as Bionic-1. On a family vacation in the Himalayas, an alien space craft lands nearby and is detected by Professor Sharpe who requests that Jack investigate. During his investigation, Jack discovers that the aliens are trying to locate a mysterious buried object that is giving off strange radiation. Jack attempts to recover the object and the aliens attack him, forcing him to reveal his enhanced abilities in order to protect his family who were unaware of his secret abilities.
Fearful of Jacks incredible powers, the aliens trigger an avalanche that buries the entire family and also exposes them to the unusual radiation of the object. Jack frees himself but discovers that his entire family is in a deep comatose state. Theorizing that Jacks bionics protected him from the radiation, Professor Sharpe implants bionic technology in the others, awakening them. Now, the entire family operates as the greatest high-tech team of adventurers and superheroes of the future! They are the Bionic Six!
Their most frequent nemesis is Doctor Scarab and his legion of high-tech robots and a collection of henchmen; Glove, Madam O, Chopper, Mechanic, and Klunk. Perhaps ironically, Scarab himself is Professor Sharpes brother and is obsessed with gaining immortality or alternatively, ruling the world. He believes that the key to both lies in the secret bionic technology invented by his brother and schemes to possess it. His collection of dim henchmen include Glove, his second in command who uses a blaster glove in combat and longs to assume Scarabs position although he lacks Scarabs brilliance; Madame O, a female who wears an elaborate mask that hides her face and uses a harp-like weapon that unleashes powerful sonic blasts, she constantly flatters Scarab but her attention is for money and power; Chopper who wields a long chain; Mechanic who is apparently an idiot savant, a brilliant but otherwise dim engineering genius who is equally adept at using tools as makeshift blunt clubs; and Klunk who is a monstrous creature apparently composed of a glue-like slime and possesses enormous strength.
Comments: The Bionic Six lasted only two seasons with a total of 65 episodes. It was produced by the TMS (the Tokyo Movie Shinsha Company) and MCA/Universal.

Base of Operations: Bennett House
First Appearance: Bionic Six, Valley of Shadows (first aired on April 19th, 1987)
Powers/Abilities: Upon triggering his bionics with a special ring, Jack can operate operate at enormously augmented levels. This activation sequence also reformats his casual clothing tAs Bionic-1, he possesses incredible physical powers and abilities including enhanced strength and speed. Among his other bionic enhancements include enhanced senses including super-vision and super-hearing. Presumably, he can not maintain his bionics at these augmented levels for extended periods for either safety reasons or it consumes enormous quantities of energy. He is also an expert pilot and possesses a keen tactical mind. He is also noted for being a gourmet cook.o his signature uniform or somehow replaces them. His normal clothing is restored when he deactivates his bionics and powers down.
History: Jack Bennett was a test pilot who became the first recipient of Professor Sharpes bionic technology, gaining augmented powers and abilities. He kept these abilities a secret from his wife Helen and their children; Eric, Meg, J.D., and Bunji as he led a double life as a secret adventurer and field agent for Professor Sharpe as Bionic-1. His double life and bionic powers were eventually revealed on a mission to the Himalayas and shortly afterwards, his entire family was left in a comatose state that necessitated them receiving bionic enhancements of their own. Thus he didnt lose a wife and four kids but rather gained an entire family of superheroes. Together with his family, he serves as a member of the Bionic Six.
Comments: It has been noted by numerous people that Bionic-1s history and powers bears more a passing similarity with another fictional cyborg, the Six Million Dollar Man.
Mother-1
Real Name: Helen Bennett
Identity/Class: Cyborg
Occupation: Oceanographer
Affiliations: Bionic Six, Professor Sharpe, the Special Projects Lab
Enemies: Doctor Scarab Doctor Scarab, Glove, Madame O, Chopper, Mechanic, Klunk
Known Relatives: Jack (husband, aka Bionic-1), Eric (son, aka Sport-1), J.D. (adopted son, aka I.Q.), Meg (daughter, aka Rock-1), Bunji (adopted son, aka Karate-1)
Aliases: None
Base of Operations: Bennett House
First Appearance: Bionic Six, Valley of Shadows (first aired on April 19th, 1987)
Powers/Abilities: Upon triggering her bionics with a special ring, Helen can operate operate at enormously augmented levels. This activation sequence also reformats her casual clothing to her signature uniform or somehow replaces them. Her normal clothing is restored when she deactivates his bionics and powers down. As Mother-1, she also possesses enhanced strength and speed like her husband but it has been frequently noted that her physical capabilities are less developed than his. However her bionic enhancements either were specifically geared for increasing her mental abilities or accidentally augmented them. Her Extra Sensory Perceptions (ESP) are enormously enhanced. She possesses extraordinary intuition and can even foresee the future to a limited degree. She can also sense and read other persons thoughts over distances. Her primary ability is the power to project incredibly realistic illusions directly into the minds of others. She can apparently affect large crowds although the more minds apparently weakens her ability to convincingly project such illusions. Her powers are strongest when affecting small groups of people. It was never stated but presumably she can not maintain her bionics at these augmented levels for extended periods for either safety reasons or it consumes enormous quantities of energy. She is also a skilled oceanographer.
History: Helen Bennett was an oceanographer who was married to a test pilot, Jack Bennett who was secretly Bionic-1, the first recipient of Professor Sharpes bionic technology. On a family vacation in the Himalayas, Jack received an urgent message from Professor Sharpe to investigate an alien space craft landing nearby. Helen and the children were exposed to strange radiation from a mysterious buried object that the aliens were attempting to recover and were left in a comatose state. To revive them, Professor Sharpe was forced to implant bionics in Helen (and the children as well). Although this process awakened them from their coma, it also bestowed upon them enhanced bionic abilities. Code named Mother-1, she uses her bionic powers on behalf of Professor Sharpe and the Special Projects Labs as she fights alongside her husband and her children as a member of the Bionic Six.

Sport-1
Real Name: Eric Bennett
Identity/Class: Cyborg
Occupation: High School Student
Affiliations: Bionic Six, Professor Sharpe, the Special Projects Lab
Enemies: Doctor Scarab Doctor Scarab, Glove, Madame O, Chopper, Mechanic, Klunk
Known Relatives: Jack (father, aka Bionic-1), Helen (mother, aka Mother-1), J.D. (adopted brother, aka I.Q.), Meg (sister, aka Rock-1), Bunji (adopted brother, aka Karate-1)

Base of Operations: Bennett House
First Appearance: Bionic Six, Valley of Shadows (first aired on April 19th, 1987)
Powers/Abilities: Upon triggering his bionics with a special ring, Eric can operate operate at enormously augmented levels. This activation sequence also reformats his casual clothing to his signature uniform or somehow replaces them. His normal clothing is restored when he deactivates his bionics and powers down. As Sport-1, he possesses enhanced strength and speed. However his arms were rebuilt to project enormous magnetic force. He employs this ability by channeling it through a metallic baseball bat that he wields with incredible striking power and remarkable skill. It has never been officially stated but presumably his bat is specially constructed to be more durable than normal or possibly when he is channeling magnetic force through it, the normal strength and durability of the bat is tremendously increased. The bat does have a tendency to appear with his uniform even if he is not carrying in his civilian gear. Eric is a skilled baseball player.
History: Eric Bennett was an ordinary student and a sports fanatic who was a member of the school baseball team at Albert Einstein High School until his parents took him and his brothers and sister on a family vacation to the Himalayas where they discovered that their father was actually a bionically enhanced human who rescued them from aliens. Like the rest of his family, Eric was buried in an avalanche that also exposed him to the strange radiation of a mysterious buried object that the aliens had been attempting to locate. Although rescued, Eric (along with his entire family) were left in a deep comatose state except for his father, Jack. Professor Sharpe theorized that Jacks implanted bionics somehow protected him from the effects of the radiation. To restore them, Professor Sharpe implanted bionics into all of them, awakening them and inadvertently transforming them into the Bionic Six. Code named Sport-1 after his love of baseball, Eric has occasionally nursed hopes to pursuing a career in the major leagues but believes that his bionics will grant him an unfair advantage. Alongside his parents, adopted brothers and sister, he serves a member of the Bionic Six.
Comments: The exact relationship between Sport-1 and his parents were a bit vague. Although his siblings, I.Q. and Karate-1 were adopted, it is unknown if he was in fact biologically related to either Bionic-1 or Mother-1. It is also unknown if his sister, Rock-1 is also biologically related to him.
I.Q.

This activation sequence also reformats his casual clothing to his signature uniform or somehow replaces them. His normal clothing is restored when he deactivates his bionics and powers down. As I.Q., he possesses enhanced strength and speed. His upper physical limits have never been measured but it is believed that he is the strongest member of the Bionic Six. However his bionic enhancements also enable him to process enormous quantities of information or formulating complex scientific calculations or equations. He is effectively a living supercomputer and is one of the smartest humans alive. He is also highly skilled in boxing.
History: J.D. Bennett is an African-American by birth not related by blood to Jack or Helen but was adopted by them. He is regarded as an exceptionally bright student as Albert Einstein High School until his parents took him and his adopted siblings on a family vacation to the Himalayas where they discovered that their father was actually a bionically enhanced human who rescued them from aliens. Like the rest of his family, J.D. was buried in an avalanche that also exposed him to the strange radiation of a mysterious buried object that the aliens had been attempting to locate. Although rescued, J.D. (along with his entire family) were left in a deep comatose state except for his father, Jack. Professor Sharpe theorized that Jacks implanted bionics somehow protected him from the effects of the radiation. To restore them, Professor Sharpe implanted bionics into all of them, awakening them and inadvertently transforming them into the Bionic Six. Codenamed I.Q., he frequently serves as the voice of sober counsel to his adopted siblings who usually ignore his advice and get them in trouble. Alongside his parents, adopted brothers and sister, he serves a member of the Bionic Six.
Comments: I.Q. was the only member of the Bionic Six to have the uniqueness of a singular code name.

As Rock-1, she possesses superhuman speed. She is capable of executing blinding fast sprints. Her top speed limits are unknown, nor it is known how long she can maintain these speeds. She also wields a pair of shoulder-mounted sonic cannons that can unleash devastating decibels of sonic frequencies.
History: Meg Bennett was a bit of a ditzy young teenager who was too fascinated in rock n roll at Albert Einstein High School until her parents took her and her brothers on a family vacation to the Himalayas where they discovered that their father was actually a bionically enhanced human who rescued them from aliens. Like the rest of her family, Meg was buried in an avalanche that also exposed her to the strange radiation of a mysterious buried object that the aliens had been attempting to locate. Although rescued, Meg (along with her entire family) were left in a deep comatose state except for her father, Jack. Professor Sharpe theorized that Jacks implanted bionics somehow protected him from the effects of the radiation. To restore them, Professor Sharpe implanted bionics into all of them, awakening them and inadvertently transforming them into the Bionic Six. Presumably gaining her code name of Rock-1 from her music, she serves alongside her parents and siblings as a member of the Bionic Six.
Comments: The exact relationship between Rock-1 and her parents were a bit vague. Although her brothers, I.Q. and Karate-1 were adopted, it is unknown if she was in fact biologicaly related to either Bionic-1 or Mother-1. It is also unknown if her other brother, Sport-1 is also biologically related to her.

This activation sequence also reformats his casual clothing to his signature uniform or somehow replaces them. His normal clothing is restored when he deactivates his bionics and powers down. As Karate-1, his bionic enhancement were apparently designed to increase his physical combat skills. Aside from enhancing his strength and speed, his bionics apparently increase his coordination, reflexes, and agility as well as amplifying his natural martial abilities. Bunji possesses considerable martial arts skills.
History: Bunji was adopted by Jack and Helen Bennett and was an ordinary student at Albert Einstein High School until his parents took him and his brothers and sister on a family vacation to the Himalayas where they discovered that their father was actually a bionically enhanced human who rescued them from aliens. Like the rest of his family, Bunji was buried in an avalanche that also exposed him to the strange radiation of a mysterious buried object that the aliens had been attempting to locate.
