History: As a child the man known as Bato was very much into the stories of his grandmother about the engkantos and stories about agimats. Bato's fascination with agimats remained with him through his adulthood, which led him to embark on a mission to possess an agimat. Thus, on the celebration of Good Friday, the day Christ died, Bato searched for the biggest banana plant with a heart that he could find and stayed there until midnight to capture the mutya ng saging (banana talisman). (Filipinos believe that the most powerful anting-antings, magical talismans can be achieved on midnight that Christ died because the supernatural energies that flow into the earthly realm are at its strongest). .By the stroke of midnight the banana heart released the gift, but a powerful object as such as the mutya will not be hidden among the engkantos. Bato fought with the engkantos to earn the right to keep the mutya and survive to see another sunrise. And with Bato's success he embarks on a mission to protect the Filipino people in any way he can.
